Potion Sponsors Roller Derby Girls!

Potion Tattoo Aftercare Inc. announced today its sponsorship of the Raggedy Rollers and Candy Strykers. Both women's roller derby teams are part of the competitive Okanagan Shuswap Roller Derby Association.

Derby girls and tattoos go together much like naughty and nice. Many derby girls tend to sport ink, and skin that has been inked requires special care. Potion Tattoo Aftercare delivers! Its all-natural and non-irritating formula was created specifically to soothe tattooed skin. The high quality, naturally infused potion moisturizes existing tattoos and helps heal new ones without any fading.

Raggedy-Rollers-Roller-Derby-GirlsThe Potion line was created with a proprietary blend of organic unrefined shea butter and coconut oil, pure beeswax, calendula, vitamin E, organic soy bean oil, and goldenseal; an herb best known for its anti-inflammatory effect on the body.

Potion Tattoo Aftercare owner and designer, Janice Lenius, said in a statement: "We are proud to give you a handmade, artisan designed tattoo potion that is a balanced alternative to common tattoo aftercare products." Lenius added, "My products are every bit a reflection of my beliefs, my lifestyle and my personality; a little good and a little bad ass!"

Potion products are available in two sizes. The small .5 ounce stick sells for eight dollars and the large .88 ounce stick goes for twelve dollars. Potion was created to reflect your good and bad side - perfect for a derby girl! Lenius's dark side led her to sponsor the derby girls of the Okanagan Shuswap Association, an organization close to her heart.

Candy-Strickers-Roller-Derby-GirlsThe Okanagan Shuswap Roller Derby Association is a local not-for-profit roller derby league with members from Salmon Arm to Kelowna. The association is comprised of women skaters from all walks of life, body types and skill levels. Their goals are to play competitive women's roller derby, have a great work out and have lots of fun.

Catch the Strykers at their next bout on June 23 when they play Kamloops. The Raggedy Rollers will take on the Reign Valley Vixens on July 21. For additional information on the Okanagan Shuswap Roller Derby Association, please visit their website at http://osrda.webs.com.
